Who I work with
I work with individuals from all professions and backgrounds, and there are certain groups that I especially target partnering with to draw on my own experiences.

When we, as Queer people, come out and express to the world our true identities, we make a decision. That decision is not how we identify or who we love, but instead to choose to live our lives authentically and without apologies. We take an active step to realize the lives we know in our hearts we need to bring forth – even if this means rejecting what others had previously expected or thought of us.
Navigating professional and even social spaces as our authentic selves can still present various challenges due to the world we live in, and requires us to actively choose every day to be fully true to ourselves. What if we continued to live our whole lives this way? What if we made our career moves this way? What if all of our choices in life were in service of continuing to live proudly and fully true to ourselves – no matter what others thought? What could be possible?
By fully embracing “Queerness” in every sense of the word, coaching with David provides a space for you to explore how your life could be if your first priority was your own fulfillment – and then together we identify actions to take to bring that future even closer.

As someone who has spent their entire career in the world of compensation and total rewards, I understand the ups and downs that come with working in this field. On the best days, we’re helping to solve complex business challenges, creating fairer and more equitable workplaces, and honing our analytical skills to rival any self-professed Excel nerd. Other days can feel less purposeful, with never-ending projects, a lack of direction, and an unclear career path.
Not sure if you should stay in your current specialism, branch out more broadly within HR, or even try your hand at something totally new? Are you feeling unsure of your next career move? Coaching can help you identify what is important to you – what values you want to honor in your career (and life more broadly), and how to take steps towards something that brings you more fulfillment and purpose. -
Call it a midlife crisis, or maybe just a realization of not wanting to go any further down the current path. I reached a pinnacle point in my career where the role I had worked towards for years was finally mine for the taking. All those late nights, weekends, choosing work over friends and family – all of it was finally going to have been worth it. I had put in my time and had a resume to prove it. Here was the job I wanted all along. And I no longer wanted it.
This was my own turning point. Turning towards seeking true fulfillment and purpose in the work I chose to do, even if that meant sacrifices and having to build some new areas in my life from scratch. Have you climbed the corporate ladder, but now you’re not certain if you like the view?
I have worked with some amazing coaches on my journey (and still do!) and if this experience sounds familiar, I want to partner with you to uncover what IT is and how to get you there. This work can be daunting and requires you to challenge yourself on your existing beliefs about what is possible and desirable. But it is so worth it! Schedule time with me to begin exploring how coaching can help you define your second chapter.
